Scope
This policy applies to information collected through thebrendonhillcompany.com, including the project-inquiry form and ordinary server logs.
Information we collect
When you submit an inquiry, we may collect your name, company, email, phone number, inquiry type, timing, budget range, referral source, message, page source and campaign parameters. The web server may also record technical information such as IP address, browser information, request time and requested page for security, reliability and troubleshooting.
Cookies and technical information
The website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics. The project-inquiry form uses a temporary session cookie that is necessary for form security and validation. Hosting systems may also create ordinary technical logs for security, reliability and troubleshooting.
How information is used
Information submitted through the website is used to review and respond to inquiries, assess project fit, prepare requested proposals or next steps, maintain website security, prevent abuse and satisfy legitimate business, legal or record-keeping requirements.
Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications. We will not use inquiry information for an unrelated mailing list without separate consent.
Service providers and processing
We may use service providers for website hosting, email delivery and related business systems. Those providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services.
Some service providers may process or store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Personal information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is processed.
Retention and security
We do not retain personal information indefinitely. Inquiry information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, manage a potential or active business relationship, maintain security or satisfy legal and administrative requirements. Inactive information is periodically reviewed and deleted when it no longer serves those purposes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction and privacy questions
You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to uses that depend on consent, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements.
